About Featdaddy

A focused DCUO progress tool built around verifiable data

Featdaddy is a fan-made companion for DC Universe Online players. It helps players look up a character, review completed and missing feats, inspect equipment and league information, and compare progress with other characters across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch servers.

Why the site exists

The DCUO Census is powerful, but much of its feat information arrives as identifiers rather than player-friendly names. Featdaddy adds the missing layer: a maintained catalog that links those identifiers to readable feat names, descriptions, point values, content groups and hero-or-villain requirements.

That work is ongoing. New episodes and time capsules can introduce identifiers before the community has verified every label. When that happens, the site keeps the player’s completion record and shows the number internally to administrators until the correct name is confirmed. This approach favors accuracy over filling a page with guesses.

How the data pipeline works

Verify before labeling

A Census feat number is not given a public name until it has been connected to the correct catalog entry. Uncertain descriptions stay blank rather than being guessed.

Keep sources distinct

Live character facts come from the official DCUO Census. Catalog names may be cross-checked against community references, while Featdaddy’s organization, tools and explanations are maintained here.

Explain limitations

Census data can be delayed or briefly unavailable. Featdaddy retries temporary failures and clearly separates a missing response from a character having no feats.

Protect existing history

Database updates are merged instead of blindly replacing player history, mappings, trackers or administrator work.

What rankings mean

Rankings cover characters that have been discovered through Featdaddy searches and eligible league rosters. They are a view of the growing Featdaddy community, not a claim to contain every character ever created in DCUO. Values can also change as the Census refreshes character data. This scope is stated so players can understand exactly what they are comparing.

Attribution and independence

Featdaddy is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Daybreak Game Company or DC. Game names and marks belong to their respective owners. Catalog information may be checked against the DCUO Wiki under its applicable community license; Featdaddy’s lookup tools, organization, database mappings and explanatory material are maintained separately.
